Girls:         • Pink cap-sleeved leotard (model: Mondor # 01635 - Academy Pink) – please do not purchase                       bodysuits with tutus attached for class/exams for Primary and up.

RAD, Grades I & II Ballet

                 • Pink tights (preferred model- Capezio Ultra Soft Transition Tight #1816 in ballet pink)

                 • Pink leather pleated toe, ballet slippers with pink elastic sewn across the instep.

Boys:         Grades I & up

                  • White form-fitting short sleeved white T-shirt

                  • Thick black footless dance leggings and white socks

                  • White ballet slippers with white elastic sewn across the instep

RAD, Grade III to V Ballet

                  • Leotard (Mondor - model #3505 or #3523, Colour – Aubergine (4E) )

                  • Pink tights (preferred model - Capezio Ultra Soft Transition Tight #1816 in ballet pink)

                  • Pink leather pleated toe, ballet slippers with pink ballet ribbons sewn across the instep

RAD Character (Grades I to VII)

Girls:          • Circular character skirt made of black cotton material (available through the studio)

                  • Character shoes with canvas upper and suede sole

                  • Grades I & II - LOW HEEL on character shoe

                  • Grades III & up - CUBAN HEEL on character shoe

                  • Appropriate props for Grade Syllabus Dance (SSD provides)

 

Boys:         • Black, lace-up jazz oxford shoes may be worn for character

 

RAD Vocational Grades

Girls:          • Black sleeveless leotard (no criss cross strapping across the back)

                  • Pale pink (preferred model - Capezio Ultra Soft Transition Tight #1816 in ballet pink)  

                  • Pink pointe shoes with pink ribbons (all majors)

                  • 2 pairs Soft blocks with ribbons, (Intermediate to Advanced 2)

 

Boys:         • White form-fitting short sleeved T-shirt

                  • Black straight legged stretch pants/dance leggings and white socks

                  • White ballet slippers with white elastic sewn across the instep

                  • Leather or cord belt

 

Jazz/Lyrical

                  • Black or Beige slip on jazz moccasin (ask teacher for current season)

                  • Bodysuit and jazz pants or capris (ask teacher)

 

Hip Hop

                  • Comfortable athletic wear & Studio only running shoes (NO street shoes)

 

Ukrainian

Girls:          • Black leotard and black wrap skirt

                  • Black tights

                  • Red slippers (young Ukrainian). Middle levels check footwear requirements with teachers in the fall

                  • Senior girls - wrap skirts, pink pleated toe slippers, character shoes and boots (order early in the fall)

 

Boys:         • Black dance pants

                  • Form-fitting athletic shirts (long or short sleeved)

                  • Red slippers (young Ukrainian) or black jazz shoes. Middle levels ask teachers in the fall

                  • Seniors - Boots (red and black) (order early in the fall)

 

 

PLEASE NOTE: One costume per genre will be required for performing in our year-end Recital and any competitions. We will be taking measurements and ordering these costumes before Christmas Break. $50 deposits will be collected starting November. Prices range from approximately $50 to $150 excepting ornate Ukrainian costumes, depending on age and genre.
